Lucy and Ben’s July Church and Marquee wedding in Wivelsfield

From our first phone call I knew we were on the same page and I was right! You totally got everything I wanted and the pictures are just so fantastic I am over the moon.”
As I said in my recent blog post on how to choose your wedding photographer, there are many different styles to choose from and different ways to photograph your big day so the most important thing is to choose what is right for you.
Lucy’s initial phone call was the key here – from the very start it was clear that Lucy and Ben wanted a very relaxed day and photographer who would capture their wedding in a natural and unintrusive way.
When I met them we were able to develop and refine the original brief – there would be some family shots in addition and some pictures with the amazing wisteria in the garden.
What’s interesting in the light of the comments at the start of this post is that it was actually talking on the phone and meeting face to face that led to Lucy and Ben getting what they wanted – and to Lucy’s Mum also being very happy with the result:

It somehow is one of the most important parts as everyone is dying to pick over the day! If looking at these pictures it seems everyone was laughing all day you wouldn’t be wrong – I love capturing the joy Lucy mentions, so a very big thank you to Lucy, Ben and their families for a memorable day.
