There’s a special magic about weddings early in the year and Izzy and Dan’s day was full of magical moments – everyone including me was just so happy to be there.

Wiston is a very impressive country house tucked away in the Sussex countryside, not far from Storrington and Brighton, with masses of space and character in spades – I’ve included the pictures of the dining hall to give a sense of its wow factor.

But the greatest magic of all was between Izzy and Dan – I’ve found it really hard to edit and select which pictures of the two of them should go in the blog – there are just so many that show their happiness – and if you go back to my Facebook page, you’ll see how many different pictures there are here.
You’ll also see that where I think a picture works in colour and black-and-white I give you both versions. The beautiful picture of Izzy in the library is fabulous in both colour and black-and-white.
Though the weather wasn’t kind we were able to grab a quick stroll in the grounds, something many of my clients now really want to do, and the results in the fading light are beautifully evocative.
