I first met Luci when she was bridesmaid at her friend Sophie’s wedding at Gate Street Barn in May 2013 – you can find the pictures on the blog here.
Now the roles were reversed, Luci was the bride ably assisted by Sophie as one of her team and it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces again.
2015 has been a year of many new venues for me and Wasing was one of them.
2015 has been a year of many new venues for me and Wasing was one of them. It’s very much an ‘all-in-one place’ venue with lots of overnight accommodation and its own very old and hugely atmospheric church in the grounds.
Luci looked absolutely stunning as she walked up the aisle and although I was instructed to stay right at the back of the church it was possible to get some very beautiful shots of key moments in the service – you can find them in my selection.
There are loads of great backdrops at Wasing and the Victorian Summerhouse was a particular favourite for Luci and Steve – I have included a range of shots from this location as I often find there’s a particular feature at a venue that my clients would like to have in their pictures and I’m only too happy to work with it in a range of styles. The setting of the church is also incredibly pretty and resulted in some great pictures.
All in all this was a fabulous day – I felt as if I was among friends, thank you to Luci and Steve and to their families for making me so welcome.
