Flaming June? Not quite, there were one or two damp moments on Saturday 28th June this year, as these pictures show. But much more importantly these pictures also show a wonderful day full of happiness and laughter, whatever the weather chose to do.
Sophie and Nick looked fabulous throughout …
Sophie and Nick looked fabulous throughout and carried on regardless of any moisture, including putting the roof down on the Morris Minor – I loved the flowers on the bumper so I had to include the shot.
I’ve also had to include the Groom’s Converses for the dancing – and Sophie making a great speech at the reception. The ‘set up’ picture of signing the register gave Sophie the giggles, resulting in a wonderful natural picture.
And I can’t miss out the flowers organised by Sophie’s mother – peonies are a favourite of mine – which were everywhere and added so much to the day, as well as the Morris.
The sheer joy of this day was infectious – thank you Sophie and Nick, it was great to be a part of your day.
