The Ultimate Romantic Wedding - Charlotte and Paul at Amberley Castle
Charlotte always dreamed of getting married in a castle and this October that dream came true – with just her and Paul present. Amberley Castle is no stranger to small weddings – I photograph weddings of all sizes there and a wedding for two is not unusual in any way.
As a photographer it is very special as you are so much part of the day – on this occasion I was a witness as well as doing a reading.
It is of course that ultimate romantic wedding because it is 100% focussed on the love of the Bride and Groom for each other. It may not be for everybody, but whenever I photograph weddings for two the atmosphere is deeply special.

As a photographer I always try to blend in and not take over in any way – though it’s a very fine balance between getting wonderful pictures and not intruding this is particularly true of any small wedding and especially a wedding for two.
What always amazes me is that although usually I am only photographing for a few hours the results are fabulous and loved by every Bride and Groom – Charlotte wrote: “These are amazing thank you. Will look through them all a million times… Thanks for making our day so special. So glad we had these photos done to make it so memorable.”
How often do weddings for two happen? It’s hard to be precise, but I’m hugely looking forward to the next one between Christmas and New Year and and the one after it in late January!
