It’s time for an enormous catch up on the blog – and there’s no better way to start than with Shosannah and Matt’s wedding at Southend Barns in June.
Looking at the pictures now makes me realise why June is in such great demand this year – the clear blue skies and the evening light that seems to go on and on.
I first met Shosannah many years ago when she worked in the catering side of weddings – when we met again before the wedding she told me she had quietly bookmarked me out of all the photographers she met to be her wedding photographer when the time came.
As spending a day in front of the camera wasn’t necessarily Matt’s idea of a good time we arranged a pre-wedding shoot – viewable on my Facebook page, www.facebook.com/henrywellsphotography.
Two things became clear, one was that Matt was in fact much more at home being photographed than he had realised until now and the other that Shosannah wanted slightly different style to that she had at first envisaged.
Every wedding I photograph has a different style and your wedding will have your own style …
