29/12/15Ramster Winter Wedding – Nikki & Mark

Nikki and Mark at St.John’s, Kirdford, and Ramster
This was a truly wonderful winter wedding and a brilliant example of what they have to offer.
The day started at St John The Baptist Church, Kirdford – well, technically in the pub opposite before going to the church. It was a day that had everything, from raging fires to keep warm with at both the pub and at Ramster, to some great photographic opportunities from the wind blowing the confetti and Nikki’s veil outside the church and in the candlelit twilight in the courtyard at Ramster.
When I met Nikki and Mark to go through their requirements they were very clear in their preference for pictures without flash if at all possible – I tend to always carry two cameras, one with flash and one without and if there’s any doubt which is better I’ll always hand over both versions. If I know there’s a preference in advance I’ll always deliver that first.
Ramster looked stunning and was fabulously warm in every sense
Ramster looked stunning and was fabulously warm in every sense, beautifully dressed by the florists Spriggs of Petworth. Nikki and Mark were determined to make the most of every photographic opportunity and ventured out whenever possible, meaning they were rewarded with glorious family and group shots in natural light in the courtyard as well as atmospheric reportage shots inside.
My friends Rollercoaster provided the music for some very sustained and enthusiastic dancing, just a brilliant way to end a memorable day.
