I’ve come to the conclusion that experience definitely helps – having photographed at both the church and the venue many, many times was invaluable on a day that in terms of weather was very mixed.
What these pictures show above all is that whatever the weather throws at you you can still have great pictures – and that having a venue like Ramster with a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces is a phenomenal asset. In particular the natural light in the Brick Hall is a tremendous help on a mixed day.

Francesca and Daniel were wonderful to work with all day – thank you both. I have many favourite pictures – the ones of Francesca just outside the church are particularly atmospheric, and I’m really pleased that despite the drizzle we were able to capture the rhododendrons and the courtyard at Ramster.
The elegance of the dance shots is also down to Francesca and Daniel’s meticulous preparation which clearly paid off.
I should also make a special mention of the florists Spriggs of Petworth – the colours in these flowers are simply amazing.
