19/12/17Ramster June Wedding Photography

Alice and Drew at Ramster in June.
As we approach the shortest day of the year I’m going to head back to June and (nearly) the longest day of the year for Alice and Drew’s wedding at St.Mary’s. Chiddingfold – a wonderful combination of two great locations I’m very fond of as I have photographed at both for many, many years.
Looking back on these pictures now in December I’m struck by how happy everyone looks and by just how blue the sky is. I’m also struck by something else – I’m often asked about photographing in the gardens at Ramster by those who want the colour of the rhododendrons in May or the amazing red and gold colours of the leaves in Ramster’s Acer Grove in October, but what comes across to me here is that it’s always worth the very short walk up to the gardens and to Acer Grove at any time of the year.
The pictures on the walk itself are always wonderful, concentrating on the people involved
The pictures on the walk itself are always wonderful, concentrating on the people involved, whilst I think the acers themselves look wonderful in colour and in black-and-white – enter Ramster in this site’s search facility and you’ll see a range of pictures of the gardens from many different seasons, all of which have something very special to offer.
This amazing sunny day was truly as happy as it looks – a big thank you to Alice and Drew and to their families for making me so welcome, and thank you too to Phern and the team from Jacaranda Catering for their fabulous food as always.
