Rachel and Jon at Loseley Park at Easter
Where to begin …and where to end! Choosing pictures for this post has been very, very hard because there are so many I would like to include – even now I have gone way over my normal figures to try bring you a flavour of this fabulous day!
Loseley Park is a fantastic backdrop for a wedding – the house is perfectly set in the Surrey countryside and features in lots of pictures here. Despite being on the Thursday before Easter this felt like a Summer’s day, with the Reception held outside in the Walled Garden.
There were so many possiblities, producing lots of great photographs in a variety of styles …
Not only did this make for many, many great photo opportunities, but it turned out that the Walled Garden at Loseley was also a great location for an Easter Egg Hunt. Another brilliant idea from Rachel was a Lindt chocolate bunny on the table for each guest – truly inspired !
Walking by the water with the house as backdrop was a requested shot for Rachel and Jon and once again there were so many possiblities, producing lots of great photographs in a variety of styles. I love too the walking shots between the Reception in the Walled Garden and the Wedding Breakfast in Loseley’s barn – a great way of capturing guests in a very natural way.
And finally the moonlight …one of the many things I like about lighter evenings is the chance of using really delicate half light to produce a truly evocative and atmospheric result. These pictures illustrate that so well, with Rachel and Jon subtly and beautifully lit in front of the splendour of Loseley House itself, a fitting end to a memorable day.
