My last visit to Loseley in May produced some beautiful pictures and I was looking forward to my return with Sophie and Simon – when we met we had talked about ways to have great pictures in the gardens and in front of the house without taking time away from guests.
As mentioned in recent posts, it was actually meeting that helped to find the right balance between semi formal pictures and reportage or captured moments.
The light in long summer evenings is a fabulous gift and the chance to grab a few pictures in the gentle evening light is not to be missed …
Pictures in the gardens and in front of the house are gorgeous and what a lot of Loseley clients ask for so I have included a wide range here. The change in the gardens between May and July was incredible – I always like my pictures to reflect the time of year and these show a very warm, fine and sunny day.
The light in long summer evenings is a fabulous gift and the chance to grab a few pictures in the gentle evening light is not to be missed – I’ll admit that the utterly unaware picture of Simon and Sophie holding hands is one of my favourites. The look between them couldn’t be posed however long you took!
