Pam and James at Ditchling Church and Horsted Place in May
At last a dry Saturday… yes, I got to May this year before I had a completely dry wedding Saturday.
2016 has been a year of visiting new venues as well as returning to many old favourites – Horsted Place in East Sussex wasn’t a venue I’d photographed at until now, so I visited it the week before the wedding and called in on Ditchling Church at the foot of the downs at the same time. Both in their different ways were wonderful backdrops for a wedding.
I love the smiles here – this was just a brilliantly happy day from start to finish. The service from the Reverend David Wallis at Ditchling Church was profoundly moving, but full of laughter as well and set the tone for the rest of the day. The whole set of pictures is full of smiles.

I’ve chosen pictures to reflect all the different aspects of the day and all its varied phases and locations. More and more clients want to take just a short time away from their guests for a few shots of just the two of them and these are a very good example of that.
Thank you to Pam and James and their families for being so welcoming, to the Reverend Wallis for being so helpful and friendly – and to Horsted Place for looking after me so well.
