Weddings are wonderful happy days in so many ways, not least because you are surrounded by all those you know and love in the world – it’s a hugely moving and powerful experience.
And it’s even better if your special four legged friend can be with you too, so I was looking forward to a guest appearance by Lynsey and Mike’s beagle at their wedding – and the challenge of getting a good shot of the three of them together.

Spontaneous natural pictures are at the heart of what I do, but in addition most of my clients ask for pictures that show off the beauty of their venue – at Gate Street Barn Jane, the owner, always lets me do a some shots using her garden as a backdrop.
The resulting pictures of Lynsey and Mike are very atmospheric and among my favourites from he day, so I have included a selection of them here.
Looking back at these pictures now I’m struck again and again by the laughter, love and joy that runs through all of them – you couldn’t stage that in a million years.
