I’ve been really struck this year by the number of brides who say to me “I hate being photographed” and by the number of couples who say “We don’t have a good picture of the two of us”.
From the moment I met Jo she made it clear that she didn’t like being photographed and that it was a part of her wedding day she wasn’t looking forward to. But it was very important to her that she not only had great pictures of her and Thomas, but also with their son Robin – so this selection is chosen to show that despite all her misgivings what she wanted came true.

It’s become clear to me that I specialise in making those who usually hate being photographed feel comfortable in front of the camera – and in many cases reach the point where they can relax and enjoy everything that’s going on.
After months of rain and being inside it was just wonderful to be outside in the sun without having to watch the skies – it does happen, occasionally ! Robin added enormous fun to the day as can be seen in the pictures and it was an absolute pleasure to be there – thank you to you and your families for making me so much a part of the day.
