19/03/13Fulham Wedding Photography – Anna & Charlie

Wedding photography for Anna and Charlie, All Saints Church, Fulham, and Fulham Palace.
I was going to say this was a day full of atmosphere – and that atmosphere was happiness. There’s a very special buzz about the Saturday before Christmas and this wedding certainly had it in spades, not even the threat of rain could take the edge off it.
One of the great joys of digital photography is what you can achieve in low light and I’ve made this a speciality.
A ceremony at 4pm meant the getting ready shots were in daylight and the guests arrived at the church as the light was going – but one of the great joys of digital photography is what you can achieve in low light and I’ve made this a speciality.
The pictures of Anna about to walk up the aisle with her father and of Anna and Charlie outside Fulham Palace are full of atmosphere – I did flash versions as well but they just don’t have the warmth and emotion of those I’ve chosen here.
I’d like to thank Reverend Joe Hawes for making me so welcome and congratulate him on a wonderful and very personal service, despite having three weddings on the day – truly remarkable.
I’ve also included one of my favourite group shots of all time – a timeless classic that I hope will be treasured for years to come. Finally above all I’d like to thank Anna and Charlie and their families for being so appreciative on the day and afterwards – it truly was a delight to be there.
