03/10/17Farbridge Wedding – Gemma & Alex

Gemma and Alex at Farbridge near Chichester.
Some venues have a very special light at a very special time. There’s a point in the day at Farbridge when the sun goes down over the barns, resulting the most gorgeous warm evening light – and fabulous evocative pictures. When it happens it’s spectacular – and it certainly happened for Alex and Gemma.
The leading image on the Farbridge website is a shot I took a few years ago and whenever you have a wow factor image you always wonder whether you’ll do anything quite the same again – but it turns out I needn’t have worried! There are loads of pictures here I like, but those from that ‘just before the sun disappears’ moment are my favourites – and say ‘Farbridge’ loud and clear.

This was an absolutely fabulous day, with clear blue skies from beginning to end – I’ve chosen pictures to remind us all what a great day can look like. Seemingly endless supplies of cold beer helped to create a very chilled and relaxed feel to the day, a mood most definitely present in the pictures.
Gemma and Alex really wanted shots of the two of them with the Downs and Farbridge in the background, but without being away from their guests for very long – they both look wonderful in the resulting pictures and we were away for less than 10 minutes.
Thank you to Gemma and Alex for letting me share their pictures – and for a great day, you were brilliant throughout.
