I have photographed at Farbridge ever since it opened so it was great be heading back there for Emma and Simon’s wedding this March – and in particular to see the many great improvements Nickie and Simon have made since they took over the running of the venue.
The bride’s garden is a great asset and really helpful in allowing any formal shots to happen quickly and discretely. Looking back at these pictures now I’m struck by the variety of backgrounds that were available in spite of some fairly mixed early spring weather. I particularly like the the daffodils, not only for their colour but also as a clear indication of the time of year.
Real captured moments are always so much more powerful than obviously set up pictures …
I’ve got lots of favourite moments from these pictures, but what shines through all of them is the love between Emma and Simon, especially in the shots during the ceremony.
