Victoria and Adam at All Saints Chapel, Eastbourne, East Sussex and at Beachy Head
This was a day of fantastic backdrops – All Saints Chapel in Eastbourne is a spectacular venue, a former Catholic church where you can now not only get married in a civil ceremony but also hold your reception.
When I visited All Saints before the day I could tell instantly it was a fabulous location, but in addition Victoria and Adam wanted to go up to Beachy Head for some shots over the Downs, including a favourite view back along the coast line towards Eastbourne and over Beachy Head with the lighthouse in the background.
The emotion in the pictures at Beachy Head is so natural and so powerful
I’ve tried in the selection here to give a flavour of the scale and splendour of All Saints and how it looks both for during the ceremony and as a reception venue. Beachy Head and the Downs are also a truly magnificent backdrop – but above all it is Victoria and Adam that steal the show and the shot of the two of them looking at the rings, something they decided to do with no prompting from me, is a favourite shot of the year. The emotion in the pictures at Beachy Head is so natural and so powerful.
