A Japanese Wedding: Takahiro and Mayumi at Cliveden House on 30th June 2014
I often discuss the variety of styles I offer with my friend and colleague Mark from thedj.co.uk – I did photograph his wedding after all.
He suggested the strapline “your day your way” to me! But in all seriousness I do adapt what I do for every wedding I photograph – Mayumi and Takahiro wanted a timeless, beautiful and elegant style, adjectives which describe them both in these pictures. They also wanted photographs that showed off the wow factor of Cliveden on a sunny day.

I hope the selection shows that – the exterior is well known but the light inside looked sublime on Yuriko and her dress, it was just magical.
As well as capturing classic moments there was also time to blend in some reportage – it’s the final blend of styles that is different for each wedding.
This may not be my usual style but it was wonderful to do something different at such a fabulous venue with such kind people – thank you to Mayumi and Takahiro for being so easy to work with and to Yuriko at ys-wedding.com who organised the day.
