A long overdue post from a fabulous wedding in July which has already featured on my Facebook page – a stunning day in every way and full of happy images, so here’s a further selection.
I was blown away by Sally and Dex’s kind words afterwards: “It was such a pleasure to have you at our wedding …Lots of guests commented on how relaxed they felt, as you operated in such an unobtrusive manner. We really believe that the photos reflect this”.

I’m often surprised to hear from guests at weddings how long they have had to wait for their wedding pictures – I’ve always tried to have pictures ready for clients when they return from honeymoon and at least in 2, possibly 3 weeks, but as Sally and Dex like many this year were not going away I shifted heaven and earth to to edit their pictures quickly: “we appreciate that you turned around the pictures so quickly after the day and it was such a joy to be looking through our pictures only four days after the wedding while everyone was still so elated”.
It’s always great to hear how much other people enjoy the pictures as well as the bride and groom and their families: “we uploaded our favourite 30 pictures to Facebook last night, credited to you, and were immediately deluged with messages from people saying ‘your photos made my day’”.
Comments like these make my day – thank you Sally and Dex for taking the time to write at such length, I hugely appreciate it.

I’d also like to mention the stunning flowers here from Kate Avery – her work has featured in the blog before, more often in winter or spring, and here her summer colours were simply amazing.
