Unbelievably, I did my first wedding at Clandon in 1995 and I always enjoy going back.

Claire and Cris wanted just the sort of relaxed and informal day I love photographing and I enjoyed their wedding from beginning to end. The light in the Tapestry room where the ceremony is held can give memorable and evocative images from the heart of the day – no flash is allowed because of the tapestries and in my view the pictures are all the better for it.

Clandon has loads of great photographic backdrops and another of my favourites is the light in the Marble Hall …

Claire and Cris decided on a short walk in the grounds which led to one of my favourite images of the day – it now heads up my Facebook page!

Clandon has loads of great photographic backdrops and another of my favourites is the light in the Marble Hall. It has featured before in this blog and elsewhere on the site and the pictures here show how wonderful it is in both colour and black-and-white. I can’t wait to go back – luckily it won’t be long as I’m at Clandon again in a few weeks time.
