Weddings in June have a quality all of their own – there is so much light so long into the evening that can lead to wonderful images.
Michaela and Tom’s wedding also had that very special feature of being able to walk from the church to the reception.
I love the sequence of images here as they are just about to enter the marquee – you couldn’t pose it or set it up in a million years and the fact that it’s real makes it very powerful. I’ve included the black and white versions too as if I convert pictures into b+w I now give my clients the colour version as well. If someone asked me to choose examples of the kind of pictures I really like these would be in my selection.
I’ve just been looking at the absolutely fantastic photos you took. You captured the energy, atmosphere – everything.
Whatever I amy think it’s my clients’ reaction that is most important – and I was really pleased with Michaela’s comments afterwards:
