18/08/14Botley’s Mansion Wedding Photography – Emma & Liam

Emma and Liam, Botley’s Mansion, Chertsey, Surrey, 14th June 2014
Weddings at or near the longest day of the year can have a very special feel – this was one of them and the light in the evening of Emma and Liam’s day was amazing.
I’d met Emma and Liam at Botley’s Mansion some time before the wedding and was keenly looking forward to the day – only to arrive on the day in pouring rain. Fortunately the weather just got better and better throughout the day – in the pictures you can see clear blue skies, part of a sequence in the evening light when Emma and Liam went for a stroll in the grounds, as well as cricket being played in the dusk. The sheer number of hours of daylight gives the opportunity for a huge range of pictures.
I love the ceremony shots for their happiness and joy
Choosing which pictures to include was difficult, but I love the ceremony shots for their happiness and joy – and for how light they are despite the weather outside.
The dance shots are also amongst my all time favourites – and then there are the pictures outside with just Emma and Liam. And their reaction? “Wow! We’re so so happy with the photos 🙂 thank you so much”.
