The day a dream came true - Charlotte and Alex at Amberley Castle in May.
Charlotte first went to Amberley Castle at the age of 7 and ever since then dreamt she would one day get married there. In May this year on a very special and very sunny day that dream came true.
From the moment we first spoke Charlotte was clear she wanted natural pictures that captured all the emotions of the day – and what I love about these is just how well they do that. Amberley Castle has loads different locations that can give a different atmosphere to your pictures – and it’s not always the obvious ones that can give powerful images. I love the pictures on the stairs and in the arches inside the building – and yes, of course, those outside with the backdrop of the Castle itself are firm favourites, especially on a day with clear blue skies like these.

Until now I have always edited pretty much all my pictures in a ‘straight’ way, but have always wanted a special look for certain pictures that reflects their mood. This isn’t a filter, it’s a different technique that has to be adjusted for each picture, and I have included some examples here – it’s an option that’s there if you like it and like everything I do it’s adapted to what you want.
