17/01/142013 Wedding Photography Review

2013: A wedding photographer's year in review.
Time to let go of 2013 – but also for a last look at some favourite moments.
It was very, very difficult to make a choice, but here are some that will stay with me forever. As well as wonderful weddings at venues I often work at – Farbridge, Amberley, Clandon Park, Rumbold’s Farm, Jeremy’s Restaurant, Gate Street Barn, Upwaltham Barns and Ramster – it was good to see new venues and locations.
The Weald and Downland Museum proved a brilliant backdrop for a wedding, whilst the church of St.Clement Danes in the Aldwych and The Savoy were as magnificent as expected. I also had my first visit to Rockley Manor – just amazing, so good I’m glad I got to go twice!
… Most of all I look forward to more fabulous days with brilliant brides and grooms and their friends and family
2014 has lots of great weddings in store – I’ll be going back to those places I know and love mentioned above and adding a welcome return to Northbrook Park, but also heading to some new locations, Botley’s Manor, Southend Barns and Wiston House.
There’s so much to look forward to at this time of year – the evenings are already getting lighter, there are early signs of spring (the first daffodils are out here in Bosham) and on a personal note September will mark my 20th Anniversary as a professional photographer.
But most of all I look forward to more fabulous days with brilliant brides and grooms and their friends and family – watch this space!
